Sarah T. Lucas is as a Program Officer in Global Development and Population at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. She manages a portfolio of grants that aim to increase the use of high-quality evidence in social and economic policies that affect developing countries.
Previously, Sarah worked at the U.S. government’s Millennium Challenge Corporation, where she served as the country team lead for Liberia and as a senior policy adviser representing the agency in government-wide initiatives to advance the president’s global development policy.
Sarah has also worked at the Center for Global Development where she led strategy to make the centre’s research influential for legislative and executive branch policymakers and advocacy groups. She has travelled and conducted policy analysis in Africa and Central America, and spent three years working with NGOs in southern Mexico.
